... and then somebody you met on the way to life, sends you a voice message, from so far away distance, and tells you that it was good to get to know you, that after the experience with me, walking among the streets of an unknown city, huge and hectic, like Cairo, seems to him kind of relaxing and chilling and tells you that it is just because of you ... 

Life has so many ways to make you feel alive and meaningful that every now and then, I seem to forget just for a short while because then ... somebody sends you a message and reminds you that your life is not a mere existence.

La vida tiene tantas maneras de hacerte sentir viva y completa que, de vez en cuando, parece que se me olvida por un momento pequeño porque entonces ... alguien te envía un mensaje de voz y te recuerda que tu vida no es una mera existencia vacía.
